Interactive Learning Tools and Classroom Projectors Coming to All 12 Classrooms
The Hill School of Wilmington is pleased to announce a generous grant award from the Ministering Circle. This transformational support will equip all 12 classrooms with interactive learning tools and state-of-the-art projectors—enhancing instruction and outcomes for students with learning differences.
About the Ministering Circle
For over 130 years, the Ministering Circle has been a steadfast partner in Wilmington's community. This non-denominational group of 50 dedicated women raises funds annually for initiatives that promote health, wellness, and educational access—recognizing that students thrive in modern, engaging learning environments.
Strengthening Our Classrooms
The Hill School serves students in grades 1–8 with learning differences including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. Our evidence-based approach creates environments where students engage deeply with content, rebuild confidence, and discover their capacity to learn.
Interactive learning tools and projectors enable our specialized educators to:
Deliver multi-sensory instruction that accommodates diverse learning profiles
Engage students actively in structured literacy and math instruction
Provide visual scaffolding that supports comprehension and retention
Create flexible learning spaces responsive to individual student needs
Every classroom—from intervention groups to full-class instruction—will now have access to technology that enhances both teaching and learning.
Impact & Growth
Since 2010, The Hill School has served over 800 students with learning differences. Today, 86% of our students score at or above expected progress levels in reading, 80% in math, and 81% in writing. This grant from the Ministering Circle reflects a shared belief that every student deserves an environment where they can succeed.
