Programs

Our half-day school model is the basis for the programs offered at the Hill School of Wilmington.
Students receive direct instruction in reading, written language, and math during both the Academic Year and Summer Programs. A 4:1 student/faculty ratio allows close student-teacher interaction.
Students attend HSW from 8:00-11:00 or 12:00-3:00 and spend the rest of their day at their base school (public, private, or homeschool).
The Hill School's program is based on the Orton-Gillingham approach.
Research-based, multisensory structured language methodology is used to address focus on reading, written language, and math deficits.
