Help The Hill School of Wilmington Support Struggling Readers!

Updated: Oct 7, 2020

Join us during Dyslexia Awareness Month for the 2020 Virtual Dyslexia Dash 5K Run/Walk. Whether you are a professional runner preparing for a marathon, a recreational athlete, or just looking for a fun way to support a great cause, this event is for you.

The 2020 Dyslexia Dash is a virtual 5K Run/Walk put together by the Georgia International Dyslexia Association (IDA). They have been doing this race for 14 years and this is their first virtual race. We are so excited they have opened it up for other states to participate and raise funds! This is an official race so runners can use this time to qualify for bigger races.

The North Carolina branch of IDA (NCIDA) will receive $5 for each NC participant who posts his or her race/walk time between October 24th - November 1st. Each participant will receive by mail:

  • A very cool, commemorative 2020 Dyslexia Dash T-shirt

  • Ribbon with special 2020 medal

  • "Until Everyone Can Read" wristband

  • Race bag
