After two years of planning, and two reschedulings due to Covid, The Hill School of Wilmington was finally able to celebrate a decade of educating and empowering students with LD and/or ADHD with their planned "Oyster Roast & Ten Year Toast".
The event, which took place on March 11, 2022, was held in the beautiful atrium of UNCW's Watson College of Education - the location where the concept of this school began. In addition to a fabulous menu catered by UNCW, the event also included live music from Wilmington band Masonboro Sound. as well as a silent auction featuring donated products and services from various artists and businesses throughout the community.
The success of the "Oyster Roast & 10-Year Toast" was overwhelming and could not have been possible without the help of the many volunteers who planned and executed the event and the many individuals and businesses who sponsored the event or donated auction items - we are eternally grateful!
Looking forward, The Hill School hopes to include a similar event on its annual calendar.
