About the Event

We are so excited to join Blank Canvas Awareness Art on Saturday, October 5th at the Northeast Regional Library for the release party of "Phonetic Boy," in honor of Dyslexia Awareness Month. Written and illustrated by Christopher Brantley, the comic features fifth grader Derek Hillis who by discovering the power of dyslexia, finds a new lease on life as he becomes the test conquering, bully defeating, mystery solving ace of the de-coders known as Phonetic Boy. The event will feature games, art and crafts, and resources regarding education and dyslexia. First 100 people will get a free comic!!!! This is a FREE family-friendly event. No registration required
