COVID-19 UPDATES & Summer/2020-21
From The Director:
As we are managing a rapidly changing situation with COVID-19, we are also happy to report that our classes are continuing to meet virtually on the same schedule and in the same manner as we did at our school. Our faculty and staff have made a remarkably quick adjustment to delivering instruction via Google Hangouts; I am incredibly proud of the resilience and growth mindset they have demonstrated to get this up and running so well! We will continue to refine our lessons using online resources to extend our students’ learning in the days and weeks ahead.
We expect to operate in this distance learning model through May and will be making a decision about our summer program format as we are advised by health officials. Regardless, we are accepting applications for both summer and 2020-2021 school year candidates. While we are not offering tours at the school, any families who are interested in learning more about our program should contact me at email@example.com to schedule a phone call or virtual chat. I would welcome the opportunity to share with you the details of our comprehensive program of remediation, self-advocacy, and development of growth mindset!
In addition to our wonderfully-committed faculty and staff, I am grateful for the support of our board and the kind words of encouragement we are receiving daily from our parents. Despite the present uncertainties, our core principle of serving students with dyslexia, language-based learning disabilities, and ADHD remains unwavering.
Please contact me with questions and I will be in touch promptly.
