Re:  Special Education Scholarship Grants for Children with Disabilities

The 2013 North Carolina General Assembly created two programs to provide funding for families whose children attend nonpublic schools. The application for the first of the two new programs, Special Education Scholarship Grants for Children with Disabilities, will be available on October 1, 2013, for children who will be attending nonpublic schools in January 2014. Eligible families may receive up to $3,000 for eligible costs related to tuition and special education or related services expenses.

The application and information about the grant program can be accessed online at www.ncseaa.edu ; click on the K-12 tab at the top to access the program information.
